IC 9450 is one of two SD-28's owned by the Illinois Central. It is the former Columbus and Greenville 701. Built in 1965, it was aquired when the CLG was absorbed into the ICG when the Illinois Central and Gulf Mobile and Ohio merged . The Columbus and Greenville was later spun off by the ICG and given it's present reporting marks of CAGY.
