The track to the left connects to the LA Belt track, while two tracks to the right (the City Wye) go to Johnston Yard. The tracks on either side in the foreground are industrial leads. To the left of the main line, about where the metal communications building stands now, was the East Junction Office.
Two SD-40's pull the BNSF transfer around the City Wye, heading up the mainline to Broadway.
